Lost, found and beloved

Collectie

Essyello’s jewelry is made of lost and found materials with a (hi)story.

Essyello creates many of its new stories with materials from all over the world. They may have been stored for years, hidden in the bottom of a shoebox or exposed on small (vintage) markets. All material discoveries have created a very diverse collection and show the fragile identity of the materials used.

The context of where a piece was found and the creation it eventually turns into shows the reality of preserved historic day-to-day objects in the form of modern day treasures.

Every piece has been handmade and selected with love by Amsterdam based designer Sauling Wong, who strives to create new stories from history one piece at a time.
